Rustic Facing

Rustic facing is made by hand selecting stones with very straight and upright faces and cutting these stone to a specified depth (from the face to the back of the stone), our standard is 4″ / 100mm, other sizes are available by request. These can then be used to face off block walls, to give the appearance of a natural stone wall, and for many other hard landscaping tasks where a regular depth of stone is required. You will receive random length and height stones, but they are sold by square metre, so calculating how much is required is very easy, so no waste or over-ordering.

Size is subject to a tolerance of +/- 10mm due to natural, undulating nature of slate surface.

This is also available as sawn face, which has gone through the same sawing process to regularise the depth from the face to the back of the stone but has the sawn finish to both sides. This will weather to appear, in colour, very similar to the natural facing but will have a very flat regular surface.
